Entering the Building:
Stoner Lot - Wheelchair accessible route to entrance:
From accessible parking spaces, find the sidewalk to your left and go forward until you reach a crossroads. Turn right and on your right will be the Stoner Hall building entrance. Push to open button on left hand column in front of doors.
Meece Lot - Wheelchair accessible route to entrance:
From accessible parking spaces, find the sidewalk to your left and go forward, the first building on your left will be the Stoner Hall building entrance. Push to open button on left hand column in front of doors.
Seeing the Art: Artworks are located on two levels.
To see first floor art:
When you enter Stoner Hall building, there will be a hallway to the left of the lobby. Go down that hallway through the glass doors to view art.
To see second floor art:
From the first floor, you can travel up the stairs or take the elevator. For the elevator, go back to the lobby near the entrance, and find the elevator on your right. From the elevator, turn left and go down the hall to view the second floor art at the end of the hall.
Restrooms:
Restrooms are located on the first floor hallway. They are on the left hand side. There are accessible stalls inside.
Sensory Notes:
The first level art is lit with natural light. But the hallway and upper level are lit with fluorescent overhead lighting, so it might be a good idea to bring eye protection if you are sensitive to that kind of light.
The noise should be pretty low; there might be some people talking and walking the halls, but there should not be any loud music, etc.
